Weekend rentals are subject to discretion of Shoreline but generally there is no weekend occupancy offered during the summer after June 21. Weekend rentals resume after Labour Day (September 1).

Effective June, 2005 we will need to add G.S.T. to our rental rates, making the total for the summer rates, $750 + $37.50 = $787.50 per week.

There is a 5% surcharge if payments are received by VISA. This would make a summer rate $787.50 + $39.38 = $826.88 per week. This only covers the fee we pay to VISA.

For example for a typical off-season longer term stay of 4 weeks the payment would be $275 plus 5% GST payable at time of booking for a total of $1,155.00. If the stay was longer than four weeks payment terms can be arranged secured with a major credit card. Rentals continue to be on a weekly basis, with advance payment for each 4 week period.The commencement and termination dates for longer term stays is negotiable, subject to availability. Longer term stays including throughout the summer may be arranged in certain cottages if they are available but the rates are based on an averaging of summer and off season rates and in advance payment schedule is established. The Johanna is not normally available for long term rental as it is frequently rented in the off season.

Shoreline at all times pays usual and reasonable utility accounts for normal residential usage for hydro, water, electric, sewer and gas service where provided and normal maintenance but occupants are required to remove ice and snow and maintain the premises in good order, reasonable wear and tear excepted. The occupant may arrange cable, internet, satellite or other services with notice to and the consent of Shoreline. Trailers and inoperable vehicles may not be left on the property or stored on the property unless Shoreline consents.

431B Edith Cavell ("The Marwa Cabana") out of service in winter months - weather permitting can be included with any of the other three Edith Cavell cottages. This cottage sleeps two in a double bed for an additional $200 per week.

Off-Season Special Rates

For Monthly Occupancy, each cottage is available on a Friday to Friday, Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday basis. Monthly rate includes utilities except telephone and cable and internet service. Rentals continue to be on a weekly basis, with advance payment for each 4 week period.

Christmas Rate
(Friday - last school day before Christmas - until first Friday after January 1)

Group bookings of more than one cottage off-season entitles you to a reduction of $50.00 per cottage (cannot be combined with other incentive offers like sell-offs).

Reduced all inclusive rates are available daily during the off-season.

During the off-season the Cottages are popular and often taken for the entire winter.

All rates are subject to change without notice.

Linens and towels can be arranged at an additional cost of $25.00 +gst per week or $50.00 +gst per month.

WE CALL TO ADVISE OF A COMPETING BOOKING AND YOU LOSE THE BOOKING IF YOU DO NOT CONFIRM AT ONCE AND SUPPLY THE REQUIRED DEPOSIT.

Payment is non-refundable once booked and paid.

Payment for summer rentals is made in two installments before May 16th - payable 50% in advance when booking and the balance by post dated cheque dated by May 16th.

After May 16th payment is made in one installment in advance when booking.

CREDIT CARD NUMBERS ARE REQUIRED AS IS A DRIVER'S LICENCE AT TIME OF BOOKING.

Cottages are not available for inspection but we can supply references and descriptions are included.
